In this year 2022, the summer series of Com d'Archi accompanies the inventory of French architectural treasures. From 4 July to 28 August, architectural walks through houses and castles, both well-known and lesser-known, will follow one another. The first four issues are written by Esther Greslin. The next four numbers are written by Anne-Charlotte Depondt (the voice of the French version). Esther lends her voice to the English version.
In this sixth issue, we talk about the famous and fascinating Château de Chambord, a work whose form is linked to the typology of medieval castles but whose distribution and symbolism open up to modernity. A magnificently coherent and mysterious work of transition, which one cannot tire of scrutinising, of trying to understand. In this issue of Com d'Archi, in all humility, we recall some of the fundamentals with a "perspective"! For what could be more important in the troubled times we live in, riddled with the outlandish injunctions of chagrined spirits, than to reconnect with genius, to rediscover wonder and the meaning of our history.

Dans son enfance, la grand-mère artiste de Vincent Barué, le stimule à peindre de belles demeures et des châteaux dans sa région du Limousin. Ensuite, avant même d'intégrer l'Ecole d'Architecture, Vincent gagne son premier concours en 2000, à l’âge de 17 ans, avec un projet de stade pour les jeux olympiques de Paris 2008.
Aujourd'hui avec ses associés, Julien Barbier et Nicolas Boutté, ils prouvent que l'imaginaire bâtisseur pensé il y a des siècles, ainsi que tout projet d'architecture non construit, ont un potentiel incroyable dans le monde virtuel. Fin janvier 2024, ils lancent, via leur société NADK.io, un jeu sur Léonard de Vinci. Quel a été le chemin parcouru par Vincent pour passer de la réalité du projet construit à l'imaginaire bâtisseur dans le monde virtuel ? Quel peut être le véritable rôle de l'architecte dans cet univers artificiel ?
Dans ce numéro de Com d'Archi, Vincent Barué témoigne sur son parcours pionnier et particulièrement agile en tant qu'architecte dans l'univers du numérique et parle d'avenir.
Un numéro qui intéressera un public large, des férus de jeux vidéo à l'architecte fraîchement diplômé, jusqu'à tout esprit de tout âge en questionnement sur l'avenir, en passant par l'architecte qui aimerait donner suite à son catalogue de concours perdus (80% des projets d'architecture sont non construits) . Un numéro passionnant à découvrir absolument qui montre très précisément comment s'articulent aujourd'hui l'architecture et le monde virtuel !

En cette année 2022, la série d'été de Com d’Archi accompagne l'inventaire des richesses architecturales françaises. Du 4 juillet au 28 août, se succèdent des promenades architecturales à travers des demeures, des châteaux, connus et moins connus. Les quatre premiers numéros sont écrits par Esther Greslin. Les quatre numéros suivants sont écrits par Anne-Charlotte Depondt qui porte, par sa voix, la version française. Esther prête sa voix à la version anglaise.
Dans ce septième numéro, nous parlons du Château d'Anet. La construction du Château d'Anet, auquel communément nous faisons référence, avait été commandité par Diane de Poitiers à Philibert Delorme au milieu du XVIème siècle. Pourtant, y préexistaient deux châteaux. Ainsi, à partir des strates préliminaires se succédèrent d'autres strates mises à mal par la Révolution Française, aujourd'hui plus ou moins conservées, et au sein desquelles se déploient la savante coupole de la chapelle et dont la géométrie à l'infinie trouve son propre reflet dans la figure dessinée dans le pavage du sol. Nous vous proposons dans ce numéro de Com d'Archi un décryptage sommaire et une lecture de sa géniale coupole.

In this seventh issue, we talk about the French Château d'Anet. The construction of the Château d'Anet, to which we commonly refer, was commissioned by Diane de Poitiers from Philibert Delorme in the middle of the 16th century. However, two castles already existed there. Thus, from the preliminary strata came other strata, damaged by the French Revolution, now more or less preserved, and within which the skilful dome of the chapel unfolds and whose infinite geometry finds its own reflection in the figure drawn in the paving of the ground. In this issue of Com d'Archi, we offer you a brief deciphering and reading of its brilliant dome conception.
